RECEPTION

Angela has over ten years experience working as a medical receptionist in both hospital and specialist fields. She has completed a diploma in Counselling and Communication Correspondence and in Criminal Justice Administration, as well as a Certificate II in Management Operations. In 1994 she commenced working in health services. Her roles have included cardiology secretary at Cabrini Hospital, personal assistant to the CEO at Hopetoun Rehabilitation Hospital, and in administration and reception at Medical Specialist Suites.

Angela joined Orrong O&G in 2010 and has brought with her superior communication skills and a friendly, engaging manner. Angela is happy to assist you with care and professionalism at the consulting rooms and over the telephone with any queries.

Angela has a young daughter, and enjoys reading, travelling, keeping fit, arts and theatre.

Justine MaxfieldJustine

RECEPTION

Justine recently joined Orrong O&G in February 2011 from her previous position at Masada Maternity Hospital. She has recently re-entered the workforce after taking a break to enjoy her growing family. Justine is friendly and professional and will likely be your first point of contact in assisting with your bookings and inquiries.

Justine compliments Orrong O&G with her 15 years experience as a receptionist specialising in customer service. Recently, Justine completedher Advanced Certificate in Medical Administration.

Justine thrives on dinner parties and enjoys running. She prioritises being involved in her children’s life especially with their activities and sports.

Sally Robins-LangeSally

PRACTICE NURSE

Sally is originally from Sydney and began her nursing career at the Royal North Shore Hospital, completing her Certificate in General Nursing in 1982. She then worked at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the General Surgical Unit. In 1984 Sally completed her certificate in Midwifery Nursing, working as a midwife in Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai Hospital. She moved down to Melbourne in 1987 to go to the Melbourne Cup, and never went back home. Sally broadened her experience with a position as a personnel consultant in recruitment for Drake Personnel.

Sally returned to clinical nursing in 1989 working in the Orthopaedic unit at Epworth hospital, and subsequently commenced at Masada hospital in Surgical and Medical wards, discharge planning and pre-admissions. Her current role at Masada specialises in assisting gynaecological and dermatological procedures and wound care. Sally has continued her Professional Development by completing a Bachelor of Nusring, courses in Wound Management and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

With Sally’s experience in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology, she assists Dr. Percy and Dr. Nathan with procedures such as colposcopy and IUD insertion, and with antenatal care during your pregnancy. Sally has a warm manner and is expert at holding hands during procedures for anxious patients.

Sidney LokeSidney

PRACTICE MANAGER

Sidney was a high school physical education teacher and taught for 5 years in schools in WA and London. Sidney returned to Australia to start a new career path in information technology. Sidney progressed into software testing, installations and support before managing client accounts. In 2005, Sidney combined his qualifications and worked with an IT company that only delivered solutions to the education market. His IT, training and customer relations skills have transferred into his Practice Management role. He is also an able handyman.

Sid has an interest in motorsports and drives a rally car in the Victorian Rally Championship. In his spare time he is a gourmand and keen golfer. Sidney brings a ‘can-do’ attitude to Orrong Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

Michelle BeckwithMichelle

PRACTICE MIDWIFE AND NURSE

Michelle started her career as a registered nurse at the Children’s Hospital Westmead after completing a Bachelor of Nursing at University of Technology Sydney. It was whilst working on the children’s cardiothoracic unit that she developed an interest in working with families. Michelle was drawn to Midwifery as a way of expanding her knowledge of newborns, little did she know that she would find an amazing new dimension to add to her career.

Michelle believes that pregnancy and birth are normal life events, and that through the provision of education and support, women can have positive birthing experiences, that will continue to empower well beyond their child bearing years.
