Michelle started her career as a registered nurse at the Children’s Hospital Westmead after completing a Bachelor of Nursing at University of Technology Sydney. It was whilst working on the children’s cardiothoracic unit that she developed an interest in working with families. Michelle was drawn to Midwifery as a way of expanding her knowledge of newborns, little did she know that she would find an amazing new dimension to add to her career.
Michelle believes that pregnancy and birth are normal life events, and that through the provision of education and support, women can have positive birthing experiences, that will continue to empower well beyond their child bearing years.
